Skateboard × Tea Scoop

mucha-kucha

Overview

Skateboarding and tea ceremony. One is a street culture born in the U.S., and the other is the world of tea ceremony born in Japan a long time ago, and at first glance they seem unrelated, but what they have in common is that they function as a place of community. With this concept in mind, potter Gentaro Yokoyama, who is also a skater, has started a project to create tools related to the tea ceremony. The first project is to create an original tea scoop made from a skateboard deck.
